Birò is completely electric and available with a fixed (100 km) or removable (55 km) battery. Charging is done via a regular socket or a charging station.

The charging time for a Birò depends on the type of battery. The charging time on a removable battery is 2 to 4 hours. Charging a fixed battery takes 3 to 6 hours.

It’s possible to charge your Birò via a regular socket or at a charging station on the street. This requires a special plug that we can supply separately. Contact us for more information.

The operating range for a Birò with a fixed battery is 100 km. A Birò with removable battery has a range of 55 km.

Birò is 174 cm long, 108 cm wide and 157 cm in height.

The interior in a Birò has various smart storage options. Alternatively, the Birò Big Set and Birò Box Set provide extra options for boot space at the back.

Our latest Birò models are equipped with a Lithium battery and have a lifespan of approximately 1,800 charging cycles. For a maximum service life we recommend you charge the battery for 12 hours at least once a week.

When you go on holiday, or if you’re away for a longer period of time and your Birò will remain unused, we advise you to disconnect the 12V battery at the front of your Birò (found under the bonnet). This prevents the battery from getting drained. This only applies to Biròs used in combination with a Birò Card.
