Regular maintenance keeps your Birò in perfect condition and ensures long-lasting driving pleasure. We recommend that bring it in for a service every 2,500 km or 2x per year. This way your safety is guaranteed in the best way possible. View our maintenance packages here.
During our service we check your Birò on a fixed number of points, so that you can drive away safely and carefree afterwards. Look here for an overview of the checks we carry out.

We can best assess the damage on the basis of photos. Send the photos of the damage including a short description to service@biro.nl. We will then contact you as soon as possible.
If possible, park your Birò in a safe place and contact us immediately.
Send the location with photos to service@biro.nl. We will then contact you as soon as possible.
There are a number of things that you can check straightaway: 1) is my Birò still connected to the charger? 2) when I go to charge the Birò does the BAT battery charger-symbol appear on the display or does it display only numbers? 3) does the Birò display light up when activated using the card system or when the key is turned in the ignition? 4) when there is a (VCU ERROR) in the display, we ask you to take a picture. You can send the above information to service@biro.nl. We will then contact you as soon as possible.
These two points can be checked straightaway: 1) If the battery percentage is below 15%, find a place to recharge immediately. Then charge the Birò at least 12 hours at home to balance the cells in the battery. 2) An ERROR is shown in the display, take a picture of it and send it to service@biro.nl.
In the event that it breaks down or has any damage Contact us. Make sure you have the serial number of your Birò and any error message(s) at hand.
Our service location is located at Vliegtuigstraat 22 in Amsterdam.
Of course, you can have repairs and maintenance carried out by a third party. Keep in mind that any warranty will be cancelled out immediately. Even if any technical modifications are made, any warranty will be rendered null and void.
