For a while there has been discussion about the status of Bir\u00f2. In consultation with the Ministry of I&amp;W, the RDW and the Municipality of Amsterdam there has been decided all Bir\u00f2s need to have a license plate.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1571819527511{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]<span lang=\"EN-US\">The municipality of Amsterdam wants to stimulate the use of Light Electric Vevicles and is planning to introduce a city wide parking permit for LEVs like Bir\u00f2. With this permit you can park in a parking spot through the city, preferably right-angled in between cars.\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1571497021714{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]<strong>What do you need to know about your Bir\u00f2<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; Bir\u00f2s need to have a license plate;<br \/>\n&#8211; Bir\u00f2s drive on the road and not on the bike lane;<br \/>\n&#8211; Bir\u00f2s need to park in a parking spot;<br \/>\n&#8211; Wearing a seat belt is mandatory.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1571497043869{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]<strong>Parking your Bir\u00f2<\/strong><br \/>\nBecause the Bir\u00f2 is small and compact, it is a waste to use a complete parking spot by yourself. We kindly ask you to make use of the limited space as efficient as possible.
